The Chapter XX Necklace

Details:

The Chapter XX Necklace is handcrafted in Cordoba, South of Spain from 925 sterling silver or 18Kt gold-plated 925 silver with 3 microns with an adjustable flat cable chain and 14 baroque Akoya pearls.

Please note, each pearl is completely unique and tells their own story, so they may vary in shape and size.

Story:

‘The XX Chapter’ necklace has been created from the perspective of our surreal shared experience of 2020.

The chain holds 14 baroque pearls as symbol of each day of the confinement that made us rethink our whole world again. Every experience, as every pearl, is unique and contain its own story. Delicate but strong, each nacre layer in every pearl is a phase and attempt in the healing process.

From the chain hangs a charm depicting a Phoenix being reborn from its ashes.

The charm has an infinite link that allows to remove the piece or to move it through the chain as desired.

Each of us have their own timing and this necklace represents the control in our own rhythm.

The Phoenix is one of the most ancient figures of mythology, and has analogues in many different cultures. The Phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. It symbolises rebirth and resurrection.

From the Ancient Greek folklore to the later European culture, passing through the Asian mythology until today, its figure is summoned to evoke the power of resilience. As a powerful spiritual totem, the Phoenix is the ultimate symbol of strength and renewal.

The legend tells that its tears can heal any wound.

As the Phoenix, may we all learn to rise in a stronger and wiser version of ourselves.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Your SANTAVANITAS Jewellery will be dispatched within 1-2 working days. We ship all orders through registered, recorded delivery, and we are happy to help with any urgent delivery requests.

For pieces that are Made to Order (18kt solid gold and special sizes), please allow us 14-21 working days before shipping.

Whilst we do not accept returns, we are happy to exchange any item within 7 days of delivery. Please do contact us if you would like any information about a particular jewellery piece or further images.

ATTENTION: Due to safety and hygienic reasons, we are unable to accept exchanges on any earrings.

You will receive a confirmation email within the 24 hours of placing your order. If you do not receive it, contact us as soon as possible. 
Orders placed after 1:30pm CET will be shipped the following business day. 
Orders placed on Friday after 1:30pm CET, Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
Note: Many shipping companies do not deliver on weekends or holidays.

SANTAVANITAS S.L. is not responsible for any delays or issues once the order has left our warehouse. Once the order is in transit, we will gladly work with the shipping company to assist with any issues.

Note: During promotional periods and holidays, please expect longer than normal delivery times as we do not ship orders on weekends and holidays (Spain  Bank Holiday). During this time, there may be delays, where SANTAVANITAS S.L. is not responsible.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please ensure that an accurate and complete shipping address is entered, as we are unable to ship orders to PO boxes.
SANTAVANITAS S.L. is not responsible if a currier’s Access Point closes temporarily for vacation, etc and delivery is delayed.

Address Revisions:
If you have placed your order with an incorrect address, please contact us as soon as possible here. We will make every attempt to process the address adjustment on our end, however once the order has been dispatched from our warehouse, we will be unable to change the address at this time.  SANTAVANITAS S.L. is not responsible for incorrect addresses.

International Taxes and Duties:
SANTAVANITAS S.L. is not responsible for any import charges, duties or taxes for international sales which may occur upon delivery.
Packages may be delayed due to customs or other external reasons for which SANTAVANITAS S.L. is not responsible.

Defective Items:
If you believe the item(s) that you have received are defective, please contact us here immediately. Once we have reviewed your claim, we will proceed with the exchange of the defected item for a new piece.

Note: If your jewel has been manipulated or repaired, we will unfortunately be unable to proceed with any solution.

Our packaging - unique handcrafted table napkins

Rooted in purpose beyond aesthetics, our pieces are presented in handmade handkerchiefs, inspired by the old tradition of the trousseau and women creating their own table or bed cloth as newlyweds.

These handkerchiefs are meticulously crafted by Carmen at her studio in Jeréz- a small Andalusian atelier, owned by two sisters - a young female business we’re proud to support.

We honor the craftsmanship of Spanish women and sustainability. Their attention to detail makes each handkerchief unique, as they follow generations of traditional intricate lace designs.

In the old days, women saved their most valuable and beloved jewelry pieces inside these trousseau handkerchiefs or table napkin. Our interpretation of it attempts to offer an intimate space to treasure your pieces, but also dress your table. Sharing food is one of the warmest love languages in every culture, after all.
