MISɅNŦɅ Ring ~SANTA (feminine) | SANTO (masculine) come from the latin SANCTUS which means SAINT or SACRED, it applies to a person who has pure heart and possesses all the virtues.
Calling someone ‘Mi Santa’ or ‘Mi Santo’ (My Saint) in the latin culture is a sign of respect and deep appreciation. It represents a strong bond and the recognition of that person’s high value.
‘Mi Santa/o’ it’s of common use among couples, family and close friends.
This ring is inspired by the old Roman “fidem” rings. These were a type of signet ring used in the late Roman Empire, they were often given as gifts by emperors to high-ranking military officers. ‘Fidem’ means faith and loyalty and indicated the ring’s symbolic purpose of emphasising the recipient’s devotion to the emperor and the Empire.
